Excursion to Chania
Starting from Rethymno we first stop at Ancient Aptera (8th century BC) with a beautiful panoramic view of Souda Bay. We next stop in Chania at the traditional market, and continue er walking through the old town and the Venetian harbor. Afterwards we may stop for a coffee or lunch in Kournas and why not a cool dip in fresh waters lake and ultimately back to Rethymnon.
